This 840-acre parcel, donated by Northern Indiana Public Service Company, was not only of direct value as a wetland resource, but also served as a catalyst for gaining additional partners. This property is under joint ownership of the Indiana DNR and The Nature Conservancy. It is located immediately south and east of the Kankakee River on Highway 49.
